At Sobhasaria School of Law, we believe that legal education extends far beyond textbooks. Educational visits are an essential part of our academic approach, designed to give students first-hand exposure to how the legal system functions in reality. These visits help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding by allowing students to observe legal institutions, interact with professionals, and witness procedures as they unfold in real-life settings.

- Jail Visit
“Understanding Justice Beyond the Courtroom”
The jail visit offers students a rare and meaningful insight into the correctional side of the justice system. It allows them to go beyond legal theory and witness how laws are implemented in real life within prison administration. During the visit, students observe the functioning of jail authorities, the daily routine of inmates, and the systems in place for discipline, security, and rehabilitation.
More importantly, this experience encourages students to think critically about the purpose of punishment and the role of law in reforming individuals. It opens discussions on human rights, the dignity of prisoners, and the importance of creating a balanced justice system that focuses not only on punishment but also on reformation and reintegration into society.

- Police Station Visit (Prima Facie Legal Approach)
“Understanding Law at the First Point of Action”
The Police Station Visit provides students with valuable exposure to the initial stage of the criminal justice system, where legal processes begin. This visit helps students understand how complaints are received, how FIRs are registered, and how preliminary investigations are conducted by law enforcement authorities.
Through this experience, students gain clarity on the concept of a prima facie case, learning how police officials assess the basic facts and evidence before initiating legal action. It also offers insights into the practical challenges faced by police officers while maintaining law and order.
More importantly, the visit encourages students to appreciate the critical role of police in the justice delivery system and understand how law operates at the grassroots level. It strengthens their foundational knowledge and prepares them to approach legal issues with a more practical and informed perspective.

As part of their academic journey, students participated in a specialized session on new criminal laws during their visit to Jaipur. This session focused on recent changes in the criminal justice system and their practical implications in modern society.
Through expert discussions and interactive learning, students gained clarity on how legal reforms impact investigation, trial, and justice delivery. “Learning from the Bench: Insights from the Judiciary”
Students and faculty of Sobhasaria School of Law had the valuable opportunity to attend the Justice S.C. Agrawal Memorial Lecture, organized by Rajasthan Education Trust. The session was graced by Hon’ble Former Justice of Supreme Court Hima Kohli, whose presence made the event highly enriching and inspiring.
The lecture provided deep insights into contemporary legal issues, the evolving role of the judiciary, and the responsibilities of legal professionals in upholding justice. Students gained exposure to real-world perspectives directly from a distinguished member of the judiciary, helping them connect their academic learning with practical realities.

- Legal Aid Camp (DALSA, Sikar)
Under the guidance of faculty, including Shalini Joshi Ma’am, students actively participated in a Legal Aid Camp organized by DALSA, Sikar. This initiative allowed students to engage directly with the community, spreading legal awareness and assisting individuals in understanding their rights. It also instilled a sense of social responsibility and highlighted the importance of law as a tool for public service.
