Sobhasaria Mahavidyalaya, Sikar, celebrated National Sports Day with a one-day sports program organized by the NSS unit to mark the birth anniversary of Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.
The event began with Principal Dr. Harshita Garg paying tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, followed by an oath by students to value sports and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Under the guidance of NSS in-charge Dr. Komal Lata Nagpal, competitions in running, kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, tug of war, chess, and carrom were held. Students participated with great enthusiasm, and winners received certificates and trophies.
NSS volunteers also promoted the Fit India Movement, highlighting discipline, teamwork, and leadership through sports. The program concluded with the national anthem, with Principal Dr. Garg congratulating participants and appreciating the efforts of the NSS unit.
