Moot Court Competition Concludes with Prize Distribution at Sobhasaria School of Law
The two-day Moot Court Competition organized by Sobhasaria School of Law, Sikar, concluded successfully with the semi-final and final rounds followed by a prize distribution ceremony. Vice Principal Dr. Ruchi Sharma informed that students showcased excellent judicial reasoning, advocacy skills, and courtroom discipline during the final rounds.
Participants effectively portrayed petitioners and respondents in hypothetical cases, demonstrating strong analytical, logical, and presentation skills, providing them with a real-time courtroom experience.
The Chief Guest for the closing ceremony was Dr. Arvind Mahala, Principal, S.K. College. The event was also graced by Dr. L. Solanki, Principal, SGI; Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Registrar; Dr. Harshita Garg, Principal, Sobhasaria College; and Dr. Ruchi Sharma. The jury included eminent legal professionals and academicians who appreciated the students’ performance.
In their addresses, the guests emphasized the role of moot courts in developing legal understanding, confidence, and professional competence. Dr. L. Solanki highlighted SGI’s commitment to holistic student development.
In the competition, Team Code–12 (Kanishka, Jaivardhan, Divyanshu Meena) emerged as winners, while Team Code–16 (Anushka, Dakshita, Pranjal) were runners-up. Vijay Singh Shekhawat received the Best Speaker Award, and Team Code–18 won the Best Memorial Award. All participants received certificates.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by HOD Shiv Lal.
