The institute has established the ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) Student Chapter, at present three hundred ninety three students in various semesters are its active members. It was inaugurated on 10th August 2013 by, Dr. R.P. Tiwari (Chairman, ISTE Rajasthan Section). On the occasion he briefed the students about the benefits, schemes and advantages of the membership of ISTE and gave them the tips to become a successful professional and responsible citizen of India. Further, the student members are guided by two faculty advisors, under the flagship of ISTE some technical activities like paper presentation, small workshops on advanced technologies, technical quiz, etc. are regularly conducted in each semester. The Motto of NSS “Not Me But You”, reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service. The philosophy of the NSS is well doctrined in this motto, which underlines the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society on the whole.
To create sensible and socially responsible citizens, Sobhasaria provides a platform to its students to render service to the society they belong to. The NSS Chapter of the Group has been working enthusiastically in the welfare of the nearby villages. A unit of hundred NSS volunteers works for environment protection, traffic rules awareness, plantation activities, literacy, hygiene awareness and offering volunteering services in the society. The team is pioneer to offer helping hands by distributing blankets, inner wears, canopies, umbrellas, food items in villages in every season and organize flood affected relief-centre, camps for handicapped people for providing artificial limbs and tricycles sponsored by the trustees of this institute. A seven Days and three One-Day camps are organized in the villages. Regular Blood donation camps are organized twice a year. Apart from that the trust organizes various health camps on regular intervals and runs a homeopathic clinic and a school for special children. Dr. Ajay Sharma is the program officer of the unit.
