Workshop on "TEAM WORK" by Prof. Sharu S. Rangnekar

A workshop on ' TEAM WORK IN MANAGEMENT was Organized in Sobhasaria Group of Institutions by the Dept. of Management Studies on Thursday, 18th August, 2011. This workshop was conducted by Prof. Sharu S. Rangnekar, an eminent Management Guru, from Mumbai.
Prof. Rangnekar spoke about the importance of how Team work can be useful for organizational growth.
Workshop was formally inaugurated by Prof. Wg. Cdr. S.P. kaushik, Group Advisor and welcome speech was delivered by Prof. ( Dr.) B.Dhanasekaran , principal.   The main participants were the students and faculty members of Management Department.
Later on in the evening Prof. Sharu Rangnekar also conducted an FDP for the entire faculty of SEC. Mr. Raju M. Barwa , gave the vote of thanks.

11th March 2011: Mock Parliament Budget Session

Institute of Management in Sobhasaria Group of Institutions organized Mock Parliament session on 11th March, 2011 to sensitize students of management (both MBA & PGDM) regarding various provisions of financial budget. Lively discussions were organized. Students of MBA-1st year and PGDM acted as oppositions party while students of MBA –IInd year acted as ruling party. Mr. Dipesh Parashar presented the budget as Finance Minister while Ms. Pooja of MBA -1st year presided over proceeding as speaker of Parliament. Students as members asked various questions which was answered by council of minister.

10th March 2011: Pre Mid-Term Online Test introduced for All Semesters.
Under Innovative Academic Plan of the College, a new initiative has been taken. A Pre Mid Term Online Test was introduced for all semesters on 10th and 11th March. Online Test covering I Mid Term Syllabus was taken for VI Semester students in the Central Computing Lab. The Director’s addressed the students and explained them the importance of Online Objective Test. He said that the test will help you preparing for aptitude as well as competition exams such as CAT, GATE etc. The coordinators of the Online Tests are Dr. N.K. Bhamu and Mr. Shiladitya Bhattachryaji.
