The crucial aim of Physics is to categorize elementary laws and demonstrate how these may be concerned to forecast and explain a natural phenomenon. In fact, most of the exhilarating technological developments in engineering are based on the laws discovered in physics. The physics laboratory is equipped with latest instruments which an undergraduate student requires. The laboratories are partitioned in two spacious rooms. One of the rooms is meant for experiments based on general physics while the other is a dark room meant for experiments in optics. The main experimental setup available in the area of general physics consists of determination of energy band gap in semi conductors, calibration of voltmeter and ammeter, determination of specific resistance by Carey foster bridge, Charging & discharging, The dark room experiments consist of Spectrometer, Biquartz Polarimeter, Ballistic Galvanometer, Newton’s ring assembly and Fresnel Biprism experiment and optical fiber.
The popular view of chemistry is one with test-tubes, strange smells, and evil looking mixtures in the laboratory. Chemistry is the science of change. It looks at all the different kind of substances and how they interact with each other. It is going on all around us, all the time, as well as in the scientific laboratory and in the chemical industry. In Sobhasaria Group of Institutions, we have well equipped and fully furnished Chemistry lab with full fledged facilities to provide our students with complete knowledge they need as per RTU/AICTE norms. We have well qualified, experienced faculty and trained lab technicians to guide students the best they need for their complete growth and development.
A knowledge of Mathematics provides a range of skills which enable one to enter into a wide range of careers, in the areas of research, design and development, actuarial sciences, mathematical modeling, management services, computing, finances and academics. Training in mathematics is also necessary for research in many areas of Computer Sciences, Social Sciences and Biology.
