Rupali Shekhawat

Studying at Sobhasaria Group of Institutions, Sikar was a great way for me to obtain the quality education I needed to begin a new career. Everyone at Sobhasaria is very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. This is a great place to acquire the practical skills needed to begin my professional career. I am looking forward to the years ahead of me. Thanks Sobhasaria ! — Rupali Shekhawat Branch: Electronice & Coomunication Batch:2008-12 Working with Travo Technologies

I came away from home for the first time in my life. The college staff paid close attention to me personally and I’d say the environment was phenomenal. While I was at college, I got a great exposure to the education system- how courses are taught, how to study for exams, and what a college classroom is like. The college offered a great academic program, which allowed me to continue my studies on a more advanced level without losing my time or  money on any further foundation programs. Participating in a number of extra-curricular activities I learnt how to organize serious events and become a better team player. Finally, when I left college I was fully equipped for the corporate life.

2nd International Yoga Day 2016 Celebrations

The Indian culture has bestowed invaluable gifts to the universe and it has always been put an exemplary icon for its valuable contribution in the field of developing morality, values, relations, spirituality, health and education in the world to follow and consider in their societies.

Yoga is a 5,000-year-old physical, mental and spiritual practice having its origin in India, which aims to transform both body and mind. On December 11 in 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21st as the International Day of Yoga (Antarāṣṭrīya Yog Divas), or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day. The declaration came after the call for the adoption of June 21st as International Day of Yoga by Hon’ble Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014.

To inculcate a perfect harmony between mind & body, man & nature among the aspirants of engineering and the personnel, Yoga is a regular practice of Sobhasaria campus for the health & well being of them. Following the appreciable effort of Hon’ble Prime Minister and in the string of Yoga celebrations in the nation the Second International Day of Yoga 2016 was celebrated in the campus of Sobhasaria at 7 AM. The Principal of the Group addressed the students, NSS Volunteers and family members of residing staff and highlighted the role of Yoga in our life. He emphasized that in modern times greater physical and emotional demands are constantly placed upon many areas of life. In consequence of that more and more people suffer from physical and mental tension such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, and there is an imbalance in physical activity and proper exercise. This is why methods and techniques for the attainment and improvement of health, as well as physical, mental and spiritual harmony, are of great importance, and it is exactly in this respect that “Yoga in Daily Life” comprehensively offers an aid to help one’s self.

After the formal address, different Yoga Asans (Postures) like Padmasan, Wajrasan, Bhringi, Shirsasan, Mayurasan, Tarasan, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom etc. were performed for 2 hours at the main garden of SGI at 7:15 AM. NSS volunteers, students and faculty members along with the Member Secretary, the Principal, the Registrar and NSS Program Officer of the Group participated enthusiastically in the holistic approach.

The participants of this celebration were pleased and happy after performing different Yoga Asans (postures) as they felt sooth and peace in their minds and it is a big asset for them to be stress free and energetic in executing the different responsibilities of career.
