| Educational Qualification For Admission: |
| |
(i) The minimum academic qualification for admission through RPETEAP is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or any other examination recognised equivalent there to by Universities in Rajasthan.
(ii) Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech.course shall be as under : |

| Compulsory Subjects: |
| |
(1) Physics
(2) Mathematics |
| |
| Any one of the Optional Subject: |
| |
| |
(1) Chemistry
(2) Bio-Technology
(3) Computer Science
(4) Biology |
| |
|
| |
| Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in current year may also apply. |
| |
| Age Limit: |
| |
| A candidate should not be less than 16 years of age on 31st December of this year or more than 23 years of age on 1st October of this year. (Upper age limit is relaxable up to 3 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) |

| Mode of Selection Through RPETEAP: |
| |
| The RPETEAP for B.Tech. consists of two papers |
| |
| Paper-1 : Physics & Chemistry (combined paper) |
| Paper-2 : Mathematics |
| |
| |
| Only those candidates who belong to Domicile of Rajasthan can apply For RPETEAP. |
| |
|
| |
| Reservation of Seats: |
| |
Except in case of unaided Private Institutions and 50% seats in the self-finance course of the aided institutions the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions i.e. as per relevant rules and regulations of Govt. of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates and 21% for candidates belonging to OBC category.Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicap, 25% for women category and 3% for dependents of Defence Killed / Ex-Servicemen.
Reservation Policy can be changed as per Govt. Instructions. |
